We got hit with a pretty bad storm this afternoon. One minute we're in the pool (where I got a nice sun burn thanks to my antibiotics) the next it's raining cats and dogs. We lost power for the first time in a long time too. It went out around 4:00 and came back on around midnight. Luckily, we converted to a gas cook top, so were were able to cook dinner. The candles weren't enough, so Quinn was stirring the bernaise sauce with the help of a flashlight.
sorry you got burnts and the power went out. Good thing you went with gas. I never could understand cooking on a electric stove.
