Well, after a week of visiting her cousin, MIL came back. Bright and early, at 8:30 this morning. She brought back fresh bakery rolls (can't get good rolls here!) and my favorite, tomato pie from Corropolese bakery! It would have been a lot better if is was fresh, but whatever. It's still pretty good.
